First Flight

First Flight
Interactive Public Installation, Armenian Street as part of Singapore Night Festival 2024
Galvanised Steel, Steel Folders & Foolscap Paper
7.85m x 7.25m x 3.m

In collaboration with Aaron Lim

Step into First Flight, an immersive interactive installation honouring the vibrant play history of BrasBasah.Bugis (BBB) and its iconic schools. First Flight celebrates childhood creativity, with paper planes symbolising the imagination and dreams that once soared through the area's former school grounds. Transforming the ordinary, the larger-than-life paper plane radiates wonder, inviting audiences to rekindle their imagination, creativity and joy with every fold. Reminisce about the past while envisioning the future of play.
