Sound is ephemeral and embodied. From sound to visual space, our lives need not always be dominated by noise or vision. Revisit the art of active listening and take an intimate and mindful walk with us to navigate our shared spaces with your senses. In this workshop, we will redefine, reclaim, and reimagine our familiar environments through conscious listening.

Participants will engage in sound mapping through a series of curated sound exercises - how our senses interact in embodied listening as we encounter sounds in Bishan-AMK Park. Through our collective visual scores, we will explore how much of our knowledge, communication, perceptions and narratives are embedded within unconscious aspects of our relationships with sound and space. We invite you to listen with your eyes and look with your ears. You do not need prior experience or knowledge - come with an open mind and a willingness to listen, experiment and tune in with us!
